Oil tank installation and replacements have always been part of our core business at Tanks R us. Our teams of qualified OFTEC engineers are experienced and trained for all installations of domestic and commercial work for your complete peace of mind.

The procedure for the replacement of domestic or commercial tanks is basically the same.

We will visit your property to carry out a FREE* of charge survey to assess the current oil tank installation. Our assessment will comply with the latest OFTEC, Environmental and Building Regulations.

We will give you a written quotation for the work to be carried out, on agreement of this quotation the work will be carried out by 2 qualified engineers by:

Pumping out the existing oil into a holding tank
Disconnect and remove the existing tank
Prepare a suitable base if required
Install the new tank and connect to existing pipe work
Transfer the oil from the holding tank to the new tank
Check all pipe work and bleed the system
Check and test that all appliances are working
Talk through the installation with the customer
