Product Description

Piusi air operated oil pumps are part of the ever growing oil and lubrication market. The pumps are designed to to ensure high performance and durability in and around garage and workshop environments. There are two models of this pump available. The 3:1 model is used to pump medium viscosity oils over short to medium distances and the 5:1 model is used to pump medium to high viscosity oils over medium to long distances.

The 3:5:1 and 5:5:1 compression ratio pumps have a low operating noise and have a sound proof protective structure which limits the running noise to 77dB. The pumps have no reciprocating mechanical parts which means they are subject to wearing and therefore have a longer working life. Each pump is supplied with a 2" BSP bung to ensure that they are stable when mounted on drums or walls. Depending on the installation the pump is available in a stub length (175mm) or a long length (940mm) and can be supplied with a wide range of additional extras. For more details on all pumps and accessories please see the table below.

Defective Products

If you believe that the products you have purchased from Tanks R Us are defective, please report this immediately to Tanks R Us. If an inspection of the goods is necessary on site and this deems there to be no fault of the manufacturer or Tanks R Us, an inspection charge will be applied.

In the main, Tanks R Us will not be made liable for any claims for consequential damage or loss, as the manufacture or carriage of all products is beyond our control.

Installation Requirements

As there are guidelines in place to minimise the risk of oil leaks, there are statutory requirements that tanks or appliances used for the storage and access of oils are installed by a suitably competent person and in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions.

Where electrical connections are essential with an installation, these must be undertaken by a qualified electrician.

Any poor installation or not by someone who is suitably qualified could contribute to invalidating any warranties held on a product.

Where such an installation is required, we strongly recommend that arrangements with a third party are not made for the installation until products have been received. We aim to provide realistic delivery dates, but delays are often the result of factors beyond our control (weather, traffic jams) and hence we cannot be held liable for additional installation charges caused by any delays in you receiving the products ordered.

Complaints

Should at any point you feel the need to complain, then please contact Tanks R Us via 01469 531229 or by filling in the contact form on this website so we can address your concerns accordingly.
