ATEX Approved Tank Alarm
ATEX approved tank alarms are designed to warn of high level or of fluid in the bund of the tank. Once activated the alarm will sound and the issue will be displayed with a flashing LED. These alarms are powered via a battery and can come with or without a 5m probe depending of the needs of the user.
|Suitable For||All Fluids|
|Lead Time||2-3 Days|
ATEX approved tank alarms are used for alerting of a high fluid level and to alert when there is fluid in the bund. This is the perfect solution for indicating a leak or identifying water getting into the bund. The alarm is battery powered which allows the gauge to be used on sites and on portable installations. Once a fault has been detected the 95db alarm will sound alongside a bright red flashing LED. There are two versions of this alarm available. One version comes complete with a 5m probe and 9m cable and is suitable for use with diesel, kerosene and JET A1 fuel. The other version comes without a probe and is to be used with fuel such as petrol using a third party ATEX probe with a solid stem.

As there are guidelines in place to minimise the risk of oil leaks, there are statutory requirements that tanks or appliances used for the storage and access of oils are installed by a suitably competent person and in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions.
Where electrical connections are essential with an installation, these must be undertaken by a qualified electrician.
Any poor installation or not by someone who is suitably qualified could contribute to invalidating any warranties held on a product.
Where such an installation is required, we strongly recommend that arrangements with a third party are not made for the installation until products have been received. We aim to provide realistic delivery dates, but delays are often the result of factors beyond our control (weather, traffic jams) and hence we cannot be held liable for additional installation charges caused by any delays in you receiving the products ordered.
Should at any point you feel the need to complain, then please contact Tanks R Us via 01469 531229 or by filling in the contact form on this website so we can address your concerns accordingly.
