Delivery of orders from our online shop
All products advertised are brand new (unless otherwise stated) and exclude UK VAT that will automatically
be added to the total purchase cost (products and delivery) upon checkout/request for payment.
With Plastic tanks; fuel, waste and water, their purchase price includes for delivery within GB mainland,
except Scottish Highlands and any place only reachable via a tolled Ferry/Bridge from the mainland GB.

Other products listed have the choice of varied delivery options ranging from Standard Delivery throught to
Next Day before 1200hrs Noon. We also offer a budget delivery for single purchase items under £10 with
clear instructions on its use. Should these instructions be ignored, then we reserve the right not to honour
the order and only offer a partial refund against the inconvenience caused.
We only despatch products from our online shop to the UK, if you are outside of the UK, please contact
us for a bespoke quote.
All items will be delivered by a carrier that will require a signature. Heavy items like Tanks are delivered by an
articulated lorry, so adequate access to the delivery address is required for such a vehicle.
(If in any doubt, contact us). Also it is the customer’s responsibility to off-load these heavy items, thus
suitable equipment should be made available at the delivery address.
We endeavour to monitor our stock levels, so if a product is out-of-stock it cannot be bought,
but occasionally errors may occur and if such does, we will advise you accordingly.
The buyer agrees to pay all costs for carriage as set out in the shopping cart. It maybe that a product details
'delivery is included within the purchase price', whereas others carry a postage cost, but these costs
are relevant to our source of supply.
Cancellation of Order
As per the United Kingdom and European Union’s consumer law, you have fourteen (14) days for your
receipt of our order, to cancel it entirely or any part of it, providing that the goods remain in a

As our website details the UK VAT added to each purchase on the receipt e-mailed to
the customer, if this customer then requests an additional VAT receipt to be sent, then a £10 service

If you believe that the products you have purchased from Tanksrus are defective, please report this
immediately to Tanksrus. If they are or become defective within the manufacturer’s guarantee
period, we will arrange with the manufacturer to repair or replace the goods at their judgement and
consistent with their guarantee which is generally for a period of 12 months from the date of
delivery or invoice which ever occurs the soonest with the exception of hoses and hand pumps
which come with a limited 3 month warranty.
If an inspection of the goods is necessary on site and this deems there to be no fault of the manufacturer
or Tanksrus, an inspection charge will be applied.
Where a guarantee exceeds those required by law, these are provided at the product manufacturer’s
consideration and not Tanksrus.
In the main, Tanksrus will not be made liable for any claims for consequential damage or loss, as the
manufacture or carriage of all products is beyond our control.

As there are guidelines in place to minimise the risk of oil leaks, there are statutory requirements that
tanks or appliances used for the storage and access of oils are installed by a suitably competent
person and in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions.

Where such an installation is required, we strongly recommend that arrangements with a third party are
not made for the installation until products have been received. We aim to provide realistic delivery dates,
but delays are often the result of factors beyond our control (weather, traffic jams) and hence we cannot
be held liable for additional installation charges caused by any delays in you receiving the products
