As there are guidelines in place to minimise the risk of oil leaks, there are statutory requirements that tanks or appliances used for the storage and access of oils are installed by a suitably competent person and in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions.
Where electrical connections are essential with an installation, these must be undertaken by a qualified electrician.
Any poor installation or not by someone who is suitably qualified could contribute to invalidating any warranties held on a product.
Where such an installation is required, we strongly recommend that arrangements with a third party are not made for the installation until products have been received. We aim to provide realistic delivery dates, but delays are often the result of factors beyond our control (weather, traffic jams) and hence we cannot be held liable for additional installation charges caused by any delays in you receiving the products ordered.
Should at any point you feel the need to complain, then please contact Tanks R Us via 01469 531229 or by filling in the contact form on this website so we can address your concerns accordingly.
